Research collaboration with other scientific research organizations is one of the keystones of the international renown of institute. Our scientists and laboratories participate in a number of grant-funded joint research projects performed together with various universities and institutes. Most extensive cooperation is carried out in Estonia in the area of pathology and behavioural research.
Our infrastructure allows researchers to continuously monitor animal behaviour and activity 24 hours a day whereas desired data recording intervals can be set. The facilities are suitable for housing different species in the desired environment; specialized areas are also available for quarantine, surgical procedures and pre- and post-experiment care.
The Institute is dedicated to maintaining a high standard in caring for laboratory animals. This is important not only from the point of view of obtaining credible study results, but also to ensure the health and safety of animals and research staff.
We are very much interested in extending our services and expertise to the researchers carrying out in vivo trials:
- research facilities
- medical facilities
